The benefits of staying in a serviced apartment

If you travel regularly and for long, it can be really expensive to stay in hotels all the time. Serviced apartments offer all the convenience that a hotel room will and they can be even better. Here are the reasons why you should consider staying in a serviced apartment for your next trip.

1) The rates are lower.

Hotels can be really expensive, especially if you're looking to stay someplace closer to the central business district. Serviced apartments in the same location are usually cheaper, with greater discounts depending on your travel requirements. They can save you a lot of money you could spend somewhere else.

2) The amenities are more complete.

Plenty of serviced apartments come with all the amenities and facilities you could ever need on your trip, whether short-term or long-term: gym, sauna, swimming pool, conference centres and concierge, and they don't stop at just that! Depending on the apartment that you're renting, you'd usually get your own fully-equipped kitchen and laundry room as well.

Where in a hotel you have to pay for laundry and room service, in a serviced apartment you essentially have the freedom of doing it all yourself, saving on costs and giving you greater flexibility.

3) Serviced apartments are more spacious.

Hotel rooms are normally quite small, and the regular ones typically only accommodate up to three or four people at most, even at five-star hotels. Not only that, the bathroom facilities are more often than not crammed in as well into the room, which might make you feel like you don't have a lot of space to breathe.

If you're traveling in a larger group and prefer to stay together, serviced apartments might suit your needs better. A three-bedroom apartment can easily fit up to six to nine people, depending on the number of beds available. You even get your private common areas, too—perfect for just hanging out after the day is over!

4) Serviced apartments can be a home away from home.

Offering greater privacy, flexibility and independence than a hotel, a serviced apartment is a space you could easily make your own for however long you're staying.

If you want to make a meal for yourself, you can always do that no matter what time of day it is—the kitchen is literally never closed! Want to invite some friends over for dining and schmoozing? You can do that too, if you'd like.

Staying in a serviced apartment has many benefits and may be the best choice for your next vacation.
